GFI hosts roundtable with the Presidents of India and Mexico
Discussion address solutions to help women producers enter the global economy

Mexico City, April 18, 2008—The Global Fairness Initiative (GFI) and the Self-employed Women’s Association of India (SEWA) co-hosted a roundtable discussion looking at solutions for the policy and market access barriers confronting poor and marginalized women producers in developing countries. Demonstrating their strong commitment to expand economic opportunities for women in developing countries, Presidents Pratibha Devisingh Patil of India and Felipe Calderón of Mexico led the discussion.
